How Does An Under-Silo Vehicle Scale Work? Precise Loading Process
Transferring bulk products from silos to trucks is a continuous operation in high-volume plants. Loading requires accurate quantity measurement, target weight control and automatic stop when needed. Under-silo vehicle scales are key systems for measuring and controlling this process.
Working Principle
The system continuously measures weight while product is transferred from the silo to the vehicle. Load cells detect weight and send data to the electronic weighing indicator. When target weight is reached, product flow can stop automatically depending on automation design.
1. Vehicle Positioning
The truck is positioned under the silo discharge point. Correct placement ensures safe and controlled product transfer.
2. Preparing The Weighing System
